Cryptomobs: A New Collectible & Trading Experience

Cryptomobs are a blockchain-based crypto collectibles with unique character models and tools to facilitate the gameplay. Every week new items will be added to the Virtual Heist (VH), a free-to-play NFT game where players can purchase virtual items using cryptocurrency.

Section 1: The introduction

This first collection will introduce you to the various traits and functions of each one, and will gradually increase your level of productivity. Once your character level has reached its limit, you will be given a request to settle down. The next set of Cryptomobs will raise the limit to level 25.

Section 2: Adversary Groups

As with in real life, there are a lot of criminals in the game, some of them even organized in crime syndicates. Some are also working for the groups sponsoring Cryptomobs, trying to weaken the others, and thereby, establish their own dominance.

You will be able to choose which group to help. If you are not in the area, an NPC will indicate the nearest group.

The Collectibles in Cryptomobs

Legions of bikers, trading card hobbyists, and cryptozoologists, gather to rejoice in this metaverse’s exotic location, found in the Paradise Coast, a kind of wonderland of treasures. From striking jewelry and firearms to collectible toys and badges, it’s an open-world park filled with all sorts of exciting items.

Guests will have the possibility of setting up their own camps, game rooms, and outdoor areas. There will also be casinos and art galleries that will cater to their particular tastes, something that will make Cryptomobs the ultimate destination for nerds and collectors.

What they do

Cryptomobs are created through mining or distributed computing. Several other forms of Crypto support distributed computing, including Ethereum and bitcoin.

“Cryptomobs are generated by an algorithm that calculates a hash function and also by a batch script that generates them on demand. Cryptomobs can also be sent to another party who is running Cryptomob software, which then also handles their generation. These Z-generation scripts differ greatly in capability. It is also possible to make another person’s Cryptomob.”

Cryptomobs — and the technology that supports it — have various uses.

What is the Villa?

The Villa is a mysterious mansion created by Cryptomobs creators in collaboration with the community. It is owned by Fludder Studio and stocked with everything you need to run a thriving bordello — but you don’t have to run a bordello to get in.

In keeping with the Villa theme, the website is designed to give you the suggestion of accessing a villa, differently the Discord channel is called The Crytpomobs Market, where trades take place.

Items dropped into the Villa will be combined to create the ultimate rare items, and the most prestigious leagues will be filled with one or two of the rarest Cryptomobs coins of the world. Users can trade in their rare items in the shop and collect 1% of their items’ rarity with an in-game currency called “fun.” Players will also earn points every day by visiting zones and completing in-game achievements.

The sport of the Villa is Crypto-Golf. To participate in the games, players will have to be at least level 20 and have obtained an invitation code. Upon arrival, users will have to purchase an Amulet to access the facilities and golf.

How Cryptomobs work

Cryptomobs will be distributed to users in 3 stages. The first stage will consist of 8,000 Cryptomobs. The second stage will consist of 1,000 Cryptomobs. After the second stage is completed, all the remaining Cryptomobs will be released.

I’ve spent the last few months trying to design an open-source, self-policing, and open-discussion forum for Cryptomobs. It’s called the Cryptomob Market and can be found here. The Cryptomob Market is a (currently!) closed community, but only members of the market will be able to gain access to the Villa.

Conclusion

It is clear to us at NFT that, despite the allure of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, in the long run, most online activities will look just as much like traditional ones. But that is a concern for another day. Cryptomobs and NFTs could be the first wave of mainstream online entities that really connect to the spirit of cyberpunk and take advantage of the blockchain to bring back its dreamy sci-fi vibe.

Cryptomobs is a project that will continuously grow and develop. I can only see it growing bigger and better over the years to come, thanks to the wonderful attention it has been receiving. It’s a pleasure to play with it.
